The Hard Part of Building Products
With the help of AI assistants, writing code has become much easier lately. I can express an idea and see it turn into reality within hours. This new way of coding has helped me a lot with the technical side of my project, killedbyai.xyz.
However, building a feature is one thing; making it truly useful to people is a completely different challenge.

Lately, I have been spending a lot of time thinking about new ideas for the site. But after launching them, the data shows that almost nobody uses them. It is a frustrating feeling. It reminds me that just because an idea sounds interesting in my head does not mean it solves a real problem for visitors.
AI can take away the heavy lifting of writing code, but it cannot understand human needs for us. Finding out what users genuinely care about requires deep observation, patience, and empathy. The coding part is now fast, but the thinking part remains as slow and difficult as ever.
I am learning to accept this challenge. Building a product alone is not just about making things run smoothly; it is a continuous journey of trying to understand people.
