The Over-Sensitive Alarm System

The Over-Sensitive Alarm System

Our brain is built for survival, which means its monitoring system is highly over-sensitive. It frequently translates a simple WARN log into a FATAL system crash.

The Over-Sensitive Alarm System

Looking back at my past, I realized I spent years worrying about various illnesses. In reality, most of them were minor and insignificant. Recently, when a blood test flagged a pre-diabetes warning, my brain tried to trigger the panic loop again.

But a warning is not a broken system; it is just a signal to optimize.

Instead of letting anxiety run in the background and consume mental RAM, I chose to act. I initiated a reverse loop by losing weight, heading toward my 65kg target through swimming and strict calibration. The system is already healing.

Psychology shows that over 90% of our worries never actually happen. And even if they do, the reality is much kinder than the chaos simulated by our minds.

We don't need to fix a broken world; we just need to fine-tune our internal alert filters.
